To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Elementary School Literacy Curriculum Writer Consultant with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of teaching or leadership experience in Literacy.
Project Scope & Responsibilities:
Design full-course curricula for Elementary School Literacy, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
Develop high-quality instructional materials, including:
Curate and develop diverse, high-quality text sets that reflect multiple perspectives and lived experiences
Ensure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes
Embed explicit instruction in literacy skills, including reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical analysis
Design performance-based assessments that measure both content knowledge and transferable skills
Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers to ensure alignment and coherenceIterate on curriculum based on educator feedback, student work, and assessment data

We are hiring for a 12 month project-based consulting role with an immediate start date. If selected, this role would be offered as a 1099 independent contractor engagement and would not constitute an offer of employment.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical starting salary range for this role is: $128,000 - $159,500.
Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.

Our 55,000 sq ft production facility in the Arts District has 25 sets — everything from white cycloramas to fully built kitchens and living rooms — plus an in-house team to help with casting, styling, and post-production.
💼 What You’ll Do
• Come up with your own concepts and shoot 5–10 pieces per week across a variety of DTC brands
• Create content across categories — haircare, beauty, skincare, health & wellness, pet products, food & beverage, apps, and more
• Shoot content — often fast, scrappy iPhone B-roll, with opportunities to direct full shoots as you grow
• Be on camera (UGC-style) and collaborate with others — creators, friends, actors
• Use performance data to guide what you create next
